Technical Writer Job Position Expectations:

Technical Writer Job Locale: Arlington, VA. (Arlington, VA preferred or Ottawa or Seattle)

Our customers rely on us for up-to-the-minute data that provides advanced insight into how their buildings are performing, how to automatically improve their usage, and recommendations to change the way they consume energy. A good technical writer job candidate for this position is needed to clearly and effectively communicate this vital information in a manner that is accurate, timely and understandable. The Technical Writer Job candidates should possess five to seven years of proven technical-writing experience with SDK/API documentation, as well as end-user guides. The Technical Writer Job candidate must have the ability to work closely with the engineering team, including actively participating in design and planning sessions is necessary. Automated documentation and HTML skills are required for this Technical Writers job position. A background in an agile development environment is a plus.
